Key Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and align industrial machinery & conveyor systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on gears, bearings, pumps, hydraulics & pneumatics.
- Diagnose & troubleshoot faults using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Repair or replace defective parts via welding, machining, fabrication.
- Conduct inspections as per German DIN & VDI standards, Bertsch safety regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers/electricians to integrate systems with automation controls.
- Fabricate custom parts with lathes, milling machines & CNC tools.
- Document maintenance & repairs in CMMS systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Industrial Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or Fitting.
- Min. 2 years experience in mechanical maintenance, fitting, or repair.
- German Language: B1 certification mandatory.
- English proficiency: Basic to intermediate preferred.
- Skills: Welding (MIG/TIG), CNC operation, hydraulic system repairs, physical stamina for heavy tasks.
