Key Responsibilities
- Lay bricks, blocks, and stone to build walls, partitions, arches, and structures.
- Mix and apply mortar/bonding agents for structural integrity.
- Cut, shape, and fit masonry materials using hand/power tools.
- Repair and restore damaged structures, including repointing and surface finishing.
- Set up and dismantle scaffolding/formwork with proper alignment and levelling.
- Conduct safety and quality checks to meet project specifications.
- Collaborate with site supervisors, architects, and workers for smooth coordination.
- Work in varying outdoor weather conditions with flexibility for overtime.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 10+2 (Higher Secondary Education) or equivalent.
- ITI certification in Masonry, Civil Construction, or related field mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years hands-on experience as Mason/Bricklayer or related field (plastering, tiling, concrete work).
- German Language: B1 certification mandatory.
- English proficiency: Basic to intermediate preferred.
- Proficiency with masonry tools (trowels, chisels, brick-cutting machines).
- Strong physical fitness for heavy lifting and extended standing.
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and precision in workmanship.
