Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, pavers, compactors) for road construction.
- Prepare sites: debris clearing, grading, and foundation laying.
- Install/repair drainage systems, curbs, sidewalks, and barriers.
- Apply asphalt, concrete, gravel, and sealants for construction/resurfacing.
- Conduct road maintenance (pothole patching, crack sealing, signage installation).
- Follow safety protocols, PPE use, and traffic control on active sites.
- Assist in surveying & measurements per blueprints/specifications.
- Collaborate with supervisors/engineers and perform quality checks.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 10+2 (High School Diploma) or equivalent.
- ITI in Civil Construction, Road Building Tech, Heavy Equipment Operation, or Masonry.
- Machinery operation license (excavator/paver) preferred.
- Min. 2 years in road construction, infrastructure, or related civil projects.
- German Language: B1 certification mandatory.
- English proficiency: Basic to intermediate preferred.
- Physical fitness to handle demanding outdoor labour in varied climates.
- Valid driver’s license (Class B or equivalent) preferred.
