Key Responsibilities
- Cut, shape, and form metal sheets, bars, and plates using shears, saws, and presses.
- Assemble components by welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering.
- Operate machinery (lathes, grinders, CNC) for precision metalwork.
- Install metal frameworks, railings, pipes, or fittings at sites/facilities.
- Repair damaged structures through welding patches or replacements.
- Inspect materials and products for defects & ensure compliance with blueprints.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and adhere to safety protocols (PPE use).
- Collaborate with supervisors/engineers & report project progress/issues.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 10+2 (High School Diploma) or equivalent 10+2 (Higher Secondary Education) with technical background.
- ITI certification in Metal Work, Welding, or Sheet Metal Fabrication (mandatory).
- Min. 2 years experience in metal work, fabrication, or welding.
- German Language: B1 certification mandatory.
- English proficiency: Basic to intermediate preferred.
- Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc) & fabrication equipment.
- Physical fitness for demanding indoor/outdoor work, including varied climates.
- Flexibility to work overtime to meet production or project deadlines.
